Monday to Thursday 8am–5pm and Friday 8am–4pm. Early and evening visits can be arranged on weekdays (Friday evenings by arrangement only). A visit starting before 8am or between 5pm and 8pm costs £60 inc VAT extra (£50 + VAT for trade), and one starting after 8pm costs £114 inc VAT extra (£95 + VAT). A daytime job that runs late is never charged extra. We don't work weekends.

Only the call-out and diagnostic: £90 inc VAT in S and DN postcodes, £114 elsewhere (£60 + VAT for trade). For that we come to you, run a full pre-scan of the car's systems with a written report you keep, and visually and physically check the sensor and its mounting where it can be reached (some sit behind the bumper). If a calibration can't be completed for any reason, you don't pay for it. If we can't start any work when we arrive, for example because the car isn't ready, a minimum charge of £48 inc VAT applies instead.

It's based on your answers. We confirm it after the pre-scan and before any work starts, so there are no surprises.

You'll get your invoice by text or email with a Pay Now button. Pay by card, or choose Pay by Bank to pay straight from your banking app in a few taps, with no card details needed. Bank transfer and cash are fine too. Trade customers are invoiced to the business.

Book before 11am and we can often do it the same day. Otherwise we'll offer the next available slot near you.

Usually, yes. We need:

• Flat, level ground, with a minimum of 2 metres clear in front, and up to 5 metres for some cars (we'll tell you if yours needs more), and space around the car
• Steady light, not straight into low sun
• Dry weather, or somewhere under cover. We can't set up outdoors in the rain, so if it's wet on the day we'll rebook or use our Sheffield calibration bay
• Nothing shiny or cluttered near the car or targets, such as other cars, bins, glass or metal doors
• The keys available and the car ready

These come from the car maker's calibration procedure. Some calibrations are done on a short drive instead and don't need this space. If your drive doesn't suit on the day, we'll book you into our Sheffield calibration bay instead.
