Most common job
The camera behind your windscreen runs lane assist, sign recognition, auto high beam and often emergency braking. After a new screen, a camera or bracket change, or front-end work, it needs aiming again to the manufacturer's procedure.

ACC · AEB
The radar behind the badge or bumper runs adaptive cruise and emergency braking. Even a light knock, or bumper and grille work, can move its aim. We diagnose first, then calibrate to the manufacturer's procedure.
Rear & side radar
Radars in the rear bumper corners watch your blind spot and warn about cross traffic when reversing.
Bird's-eye view
Four or more cameras stitched into one overhead view. After mirror, bumper or tailgate work, the picture warps or the joins don't line up.
Calibrated with manufacturer pattern mats laid out around the car.

A full scan of every module tells us what's really behind the warning: a calibration, a sensor, wiring, or something else entirely.

New and second-hand modules often need coding to the car before they'll work, then calibrating. We do both in one visit.

Where we do the work
Most jobs are done where the car is. If there isn't the space, we'll book it into our bay instead.
These come from the car maker's calibration procedure. If your drive doesn't suit on the day, we'll book you into our Sheffield calibration bay instead.
Home, work, garage or bodyshop. We need flat, level ground with a minimum of 2 metres clear in front, and up to 5 metres for some cars (we'll tell you if yours needs more). Live tracking on the day: a text with a live map link when we set off.
A controlled, level bay for jobs that need it. The address is sent when you book.

Questions
It depends on which systems need calibrating and where the car is. Answer a few quick questions and you'll see your price straight away, before you book. Every job comes with a pre-scan, calibration certificate and post-scan report. There's no separate travel charge: the price you see is the price. If we can't complete a calibration, you don't pay for it, only the call-out and diagnostic.

You don't pay for a calibration that isn't completed. You only pay the call-out and diagnostic, and for that you get a full pre-scan with a written report you keep, plus a visual and physical check of the sensor and its mounting where it can be reached.
Most single calibrations take under an hour. Vehicles ready before 11am can often be done the same day.
Yes. We need flat, level ground with a minimum of 2 metres clear in front, and up to 5 metres for some cars (we'll tell you if yours needs more), plus steady light, dry weather or cover, and nothing shiny or cluttered near the targets. Some calibrations are done on a short drive instead and don't need this space. If you don't have that, we'll use our Sheffield calibration bay.
Every job comes with a pre-scan, calibration certificate and post-scan report. For bodyshop work, if your work provider uses an ADAS calibration form, we'll complete that too.
